Team Warrior Taekwondo Willington

We are a taekwondo club which opened on 2016. We are a family friendly and inclusive club which provides opportunity to learn, progress and compete in taekwondo for all ages and abilities. We provide technical sessions to progress through belts as well as Olympic style taekwondo sessions for those who wish to learn to compete. The sessions are ran by two former GB junior members who together have represented GB at the European championships and commonwealth games and have 8 national titles between them.

Man Club

Since beginning the club late last year it has already grown in strength, and we have been able to set up a range of different meetings and activities for members to take part in within the local area. These vary from weekly football and badminton sessions at Meadowfield sports centre to walks and bike rides around the local area as well as monthly ‘brew and buttie mornings’ at St Johns Hall in Meadowfield. We can offer information and guidance to men who are struggling with their mental health as well as working closely with charities and organisations who offer support to people through counselling sessions.
