Horden Community Welfare Football Club

We are a newly formed football club looking to bring competitive Saturday football back to our village. This newly formed club have signed a licence with Horden Parish Council to play at Welfare Park for the 2017/18 season with a view to extending the licence for the foreseeable future. We are passionate about grass roots football and our village and are working extremely hard behind the scenes trying to raise the necessary funds to return football to Welfare Park. Starting a new club is an extremely expensive past-time but we are committed and willing to give it our best shot. The ground rent alone to play at the Welfare for one season is £1590. The local community have proved they are right behind us and helping us in different ways which has gone to prove to us that our village craves a football team to support.
