Lanchester Cricket Club

The club formed in 1973 has progressed to having three senior cricket teams and five junior teams. The top two senior’s teams play in the Tyneside and Northumberland Senior League, whilst the thirds play in the Hetton Lyons Sunday League. The under 18s, 15s,13s and 11s play in the Tyneside Junior League and we have an under nines that plays in a competition in Derwentside. Girls can play alongside boys in the junior teams. We welcome anyone to try playing and with our qualified coaches look to help develop their abilities to become regular cricketers
The football team is a recent addition to the club, formed four years ago and competing in the Consett Sunday League.
