Barnard Castle Youth Football Club is affiliated with Durham FA and is an England Football Accredited club.
Recognised by the County FA for offering a consistently high standard on and off the pitch, we create the ideal environments to nurture players, coaches and volunteers whilst delivering inclusive football for our local community.
We provide an essential community resource for children to play football for fun, competition, health, and well-being.
We trace our roots back to the 1980s when the legendary Barnard Castle YMCA Tornadoes. Local volunteers run our club and teams, with former players now also coaches or relations of our current young players.
Our vision is to empower our local community to participate in, organize, and enjoy the beautiful game.
