Cestria Cycling Club
Cycling
Cestria Cycling Club established in 1986 is based in the Chester-le-Street area of England.
Club members meet every Sunday at 9am for a 9.15am club run at Chester-le-Street Market Place.
Twice per month we have a ‘steady ride’ to encourage new members to join us on a club run. Non-members are welcome to come along and try us out – look at Upcoming Events or check out current news and views on the club Facebook Page.
There are two events particularly associated with the club; the Terry Proctor 9.4-mile Time Trial on the Leamside circuit which takes place in June, and the Lanchester Peth Hill Climb in October.
The club also hosts Cyclocross races for both the Northeast Cyclocross League (NECCL) and CXNE as well as its own Time Trial mini-series.
