Durham University Hockey Club

Durham University Hockey Club is a well established and successful Hockey Club playing in a variety of leagues both nationally and locally.

After establishing a successful performance programme they are looking to engage with the wider community in particular with juniors throughout the region and within the England Hockey Player pathway system. We aim to do this through utilising the performance coaches and players (including current international players).

We have a brilliant relationship with England Hockey both locally and nationally and are working together to provide more opportunities.

The University is providing the hockey club with 2 brand new hockey fields which will be the only two water based pitches in the North east. We wish to ensure that the pitches are utilised both by the club and community for the next phase of the clubs development.
