Fishburn Bowls Club

Fishburn Bowls Club is a not for profit club located on Butterwick Road, Fishburn. Play is on a natural grass green of 6 lanes located within Fishburn Sports Ground with supporting facilities. Open between April and October. The club is fully supported by Fishburn Parish Council as a key part of the local community.

The club has been at present location since mid 1950s with a current membership of almost 30. Open to anyone in the Fishburn and surrounding districts (including Sedgefield, Bishop Middleham, Trimdon villages and Coxhoe), the club affords opportunities to enjoy outdoor sport with no financial barriers. The club are members of 4 bowls leagues within County Durham although members are under no obligation to participate in those leagues. The club is also open to casual players at arranged times.

The club is open too all ages and gender offering companionship and gentle healthy exercise.
