Established at the Recreation Ground in 1881 as a Cricket Club for the villagers of Ushaw Moor. 135 years on the Cricket Club has a Senior Football team and a Social Club that is open evenings and weekends.
Two senior cricket teams (1st & 2nd XI) playing local league and competitive U13’s & 15’s junior teams
One senior football team playing in the Durham & District Sunday League
Mission Statement
Advance and promote the sport (namely cricket/football) for the residents of Ushaw Moor and surrounding areas offering a safe and enjoyable place to participate in cricket and football as a recreational and leisure pursuit.
UMCC not only exists to offer talented cricketers the opportunity to improve their skills and play competitively, but also to provide all aspiring sportspeople, whatever their background, the chance to fulfil their true potential.
Development goal to provide the very best facilities, personnel and resources for players, volunteers and members as is affordable.
Encourage all members to increase engagement, pride and mutual respect towards all things associated with the club and its future direction.
