Go The Distance CIC

Go the Distance (GTD) is a Community Interest Company (CIC) set up to create a pathway for young people focusing on four core areas: Sport, Education, Employability, Mental Health.

Sporting activities used as a vehicle to help young people in the Durham and Sunderland area of the Northeast of England with mental health, behaviour, and confidence issues to access positive engagement via additional education and training outside of a school environment.

Our approach is to work with young people by helping them to re-engage with their education program, use sport to build confidence and discipline and build their mindset up to a level where they can believe in themselves and improve self-esteem.
